Our story

Sonta Coliving is a small coliving and coworking space located on the outskirts of the multicultural village of Sonta, in northwest Serbia — near the Croatian border.

The village is home to Croats, Serbs, Hungarians, Roma, and others, coexisting peacefully. Don’t worry — there’s no war here. You are safe.

We bring together digital nomads, remote workers, NGO activists, artists, and curious people looking for a quieter, slower, and more meaningful way of living and working. If you’re craving nature, simplicity, and community — this is your place.

Sonta Coliving was started by members of the Center for Culture and Education Sonta, a youth organization that’s been working for years to build a better, more inclusive community.

Besides hosting guests, we also run projects focused on reconciliation, interculturality, and local development. We grow food, make wine and rakia, buy from neighbors, and share healthy homemade meals.

Dogs bark, trains pass in the distance, and time slows down.
